About us

One tool, one industry, one question.

Lykt answers one question: does your place get mentioned when a guest asks an AI engine, and which sources built the answer.

What Lykt is

A tool that asks the questions your guests actually ask, to the AI engines they use, such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, in the markets your guests come from. Each answer is stored with who was mentioned and which sources the engine read. The result is shown as an Authority map, not as a score, and every month we point to at most three tasks, picked from the map.

We only build for tourism. The question sets follow five pillars, because that’s how a guest plans a trip:

  1. Place
  2. Season
  3. Experience
  4. Guest
  5. Market

A general tool measures brand names. We measure whether people find their way to you.

Who’s behind it

Lykt is built and run by a small team in Vestland. We’re few, we work closely with our pilot clients, and we only build this one product. If you want to know who you’re talking to, write to us, and we’ll answer ourselves.

Where we are now

We’re in pilot. The tool runs with pilot clients in tourism, and we develop it further together with them. We publish what’s launched, what’s in progress and what’s next on the roadmap, and we measure our own AI visibility with the same tool. Where we lose, we say so.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t give you an overall score.
  • We don’t promise any placement, because nobody can promise what an AI engine writes.
  • We don’t publish client numbers we can’t show, and no client story until the client has said yes to it.
