Choose Periscopify if
- You sell to other businesses. Their tool is made for B2B marketing teams, and that’s a different buying journey from a guest planning a holiday.
- You want Claude from the lowest plan. It’s on their list and not on ours.
- You measure in Norway and the Nordics and don’t need markets outside them.
Choose Lykt if
- You sell stays or experiences, and want the questions built for tourism: place, season and who suits what.

What we measure differently
Three choices that make our numbers different.

A map, not a grade
We don’t give you one number to be judged on. You get an Authority map where each pillar reads “You’re mentioned”, “Shared answer” or “Not mentioned” per engine, and each cell points to a task. A map tells you where to go. A grade only tells you how it went. See the glossary (in Norwegian).

Market, not language
Our unit is the market, and the language is a property of the market. A guest in the Netherlands and a guest in Germany can get different answers to the same question, because the engine can read different sources in the two countries. That’s why we measure per market, and add the market you’re going for.

Tourism’s own questions
The questions we ask the engines are the ones guests actually ask: place, season, experience, guest and market. The source mix we read is the destination company, the booking sites and the profiles the guest meets along the way. How it works.

What’s the price difference?
Periscopify’s price list states Peri Monitor at 499 NOK/month incl. VAT, reduced from 999 NOK, and Peri + Our AI Advisors at a price by agreement. Their product page states “from NOK 990/month”. Lykt starts at 990 NOK/month and Pro costs 1,999 NOK/month, ex. VAT. One price includes VAT and the other doesn’t, so compare on the same basis.
How many competitors can we follow?
Periscopify states up to five competitors. Lykt follows 3 competitors in Basis and 5 in Pro, Vekst and Program.
Do both cover markets outside the Nordics?
Periscopify states Norway and the Nordics. Lykt sets up the markets you pick, also outside the Nordics, such as Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA. Extra markets cost 750 NOK/month per market.
Which engines do we get on the lowest plan?
Periscopify states full monitoring in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Overviews in Peri Monitor. With us, Basis, the lowest plan, measures three engines. Pro, Vekst and Program measure all five: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot.
